Students will use a bench-mounted torch and rods of borosilicate glass to learn how to carefully melt glass and shape a gather of glass into an icicle. After completing some basic clear icicles, the process of applying some stripes of color will be covered.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: start; ; white-space:pre-wrap;\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\"><span>Students will learn how to safely light and use a bench-mounted torch. Maren Oates<\/a><strong><br>Location: <\/strong>Studio 1<\/p><p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\"><span>In this workshop, students will use ferns, leaves, and branches (real and fake) to create a variety of botanical gel prints that mimic the look of Christmas trees. <\/span><\/p><p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\">Students will leave with festive prints that could be used on holiday cards, gift bags, wrapping, or tags.
