The natural world around us is an infinite source of beauty and inspiration. It’s no wonder that it has served as a subject for countless artists over the years. In this class, we will learn to paint natural landscapes with oil.
Students will learn the basics of oil painting through both instruction and hands-on experience. Beyond basics, the student will also learn color theories and landscape-specific techniques to paint texture and form from natural elements such as sky, water, trees, light, and shadow.
The resources and techniques learned in this class will form a foundation for the student to continue finding their own style in oil painting landscapes.
